SVFF HappeningsRandom thoughts from the front lines of humane feral cat managementSaturday, March 17, 2007Pet Food Recall
Most of you have already heard about this, but for those that haven't, here it is. This affects many brands of cat and dog food. If you have cats or dogs, read this and check to determine if you have affected food.
A number of foods are being recalled because animals are getting sick and dying; kidney failure is the most prevalent problem and they are not sure what is causing it yet. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070317/ap_on_bi_ge/pet_food_recall Here is the complete list of cat foods: http://www.menufoods.com/recall/product_cat.html Dog foods: http://www.menufoods.com/recall/product_dog.html PLEASE check the lists for any foods you may have and follow the guidelines on the website: http://www.menufoods.com/recall/Press_Recall_03162007.pdf Phone Number 1-866-895-2708 Archives03/01/2004 - 04/01/2004 04/01/2004 - 05/01/2004 05/01/2004 - 06/01/2004 06/01/2004 - 07/01/2004 07/01/2004 - 08/01/2004 08/01/2004 - 09/01/2004 12/01/2004 - 01/01/2005 04/01/2005 - 05/01/2005 05/01/2005 - 06/01/2005 07/01/2005 - 08/01/2005 08/01/2005 - 09/01/2005 09/01/2005 - 10/01/2005 10/01/2005 - 11/01/2005 11/01/2005 - 12/01/2005 12/01/2005 - 01/01/2006 01/01/2006 - 02/01/2006 02/01/2006 - 03/01/2006 01/01/2007 - 02/01/2007 03/01/2007 - 04/01/2007
